Lymphatic Drainage Massage
The lymphatic system is a major part of the immune system, consisting of waste removal channels to lymph nodes containing fighter cells. It is a very important part of our body function.
This type of massage aims to help the body maintain proper blood circulation, body fluid balance, and immune functions.
The lymphatic system is only stimulated by movement, unlike the circulatory system which has the benefit of the heart to pump its blood.
Therefore lymphatic drainage massage can be particularly useful for certain conditions including;
Rheumatoid arthritis
Fibromyalgia
Cancer
Post surgery
Sedentary and bed bound patients
Swelling
Dry Needling/ MSK Acupuncture
This treatment uses very thin needles tapped into the tissue to either release tension in tight muscles, known as dry needling, or to treat musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions using Chinese medical acupuncture. This will be great for:
chronic pain conditions and injuries
